I've been the victim of shoe demise! My favorite Puma boot that I barely wear has literally disintegrated. This winter has been rough so many of my boots; have not been worn until they need to make their showcase. My favorite and fashionable mid- ankle suede Puma boot has been breaking up on me. The steps small and big has shifted and the hints of their demise led to chunks of the bottom grips left everywhere! I was so upset as I looked down in my office and the bottom of the boot has exploded- now how so if the boot is not worn often? Well folks a little thing called not wearing the shoes we treasure and possibility of poor materials used on the prime name brand digs! All this to say just because it's name brand does not mean it's all good! The intention was good in the beginning but with winter snow salt and or temperature change keeping shoes in the boxes can drastically change the make-up of the shoe, and this is not the best thing especially when it's time to wear the shoe. Here's some pics of my favorite that may need to be put to pasture, because it's not cute walking and having the bottom grips leave remnants with every stride- not cute..... Here's some tips to HOW TO STORE SHOE their home is a box.
